If you’re the kind of person who likes to camp in style, the Coleman Retro Rechargeable Lantern is calling your name. I bought this for DH last year for his birthday and it is quite fabulous. It operates for 9 hours on one charge via 12V DC or 120V AC. The 11 watt fluorescent spiral bulb has a high and low brightness feature. And see that cap where the fuel would go in on a traditional Coleman? It’s actually a night light! It’s available on-line at Coleman for 52 bucks, which is a little spendy. I’ve seen them on sale at my local sporting goods stores for as little as $35.
