The Motorized Monocycle

The motorized monocycle was birthed in Marseilles, France in 1869, and I'm guessing it looked a bit different than this one. From Hammacher Schlemmer, the 31cc, four-stroke 1 1/2 hp monocycle can reach 25 MPH. It measures 67" in diameter and weighs 110 lbs. It can hold riders up to 6'3" who weigh between 110 to 275 lbs. One-half gallon of gas will provide two hours of rolling fun. Although it only has one wheel, at 13 grand it costs as much as stuff with four. And it isn't even street legal.
