Camping Washing Machine

A few years ago we were all hot to get out on our first camping trip of the year. It was going to be a beautiful weekend spent near the shores of Lake Pepin in southeastern Minnesota. When we had arrived at our campsite and were all set up, I asked my camping buddy (aka husband) ‘Where are my clothes?’ He responded with, ‘I don’t know.’ Now, I had neatly folded and set the clothes I wanted to take along right next to his on our bed and since he was packing the clothes I just assumed he would pack mine as well. Yeah, not so much. First I was miffed, and then I was amused, and then I went shopping, which wasn’t exactly what I wanted to do on our first camping trip of the year. Too bad we didn’t have this handy little Wonder Wash, which can wash up to a 5 lb load of laundry with just a few minutes of hand cranking. It costs $42.95–which is about what I spent on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt on that fateful camping trip. (I rinsed my undies out at night and wore a pair of hubby’s boxer briefs to bed. Oh, the fun of camping.)

That's a funny story....i always pack my own gear/pack and am really anal about getting it together and getting everything back because it's my responsibility....one time, i left one of my Nalgenes in Jess' pack, i drove back to Tampa to retrieve it....would have been my fault if i got out to the backcountry and didn' have it....
