And now for the bad news: The Ski Area Citizens’ Coalition survey of US ski resorts and their impact on the environment also provided a bottom ten list as well. Those resorts that graded the worst (getting F’s and D’s) are as follows:  

1. Copper Mountain - Colorado
2. Breckenridge Ski Resort - Colorado
3. Sun Valley Resort - Idaho
4. Kirkwood Mountain Resort - California
5. Brundage Mountain Resort - Idaho
6. Crystal Mountain Ski Area - Washington
7. White Pass Ski Area - Washington
8. Crested Butte Mountain Resort - Colorado
9. Winter Park Resort - Colorado
10. 49 Degrees North Resort - Washington
