Top Ten Greenest Ski Resorts

The Ski Area Citizens’ Coalition grades ski resorts on their environmental impact. Their scores take into consideration such things as the avoidance of snow-making and wetland and old growth forest protection. All getting A's, the top 10 are as follows:
- Aspen Mountain Ski Resort - Colorado
- Buttermilk Mountain Ski Resort - Colorado
- Park City Mountain Resort - Utah
- Sundance Resort - Utah
- Aspen Highlands Ski Resort - Colorado
- Mount Bachelor Ski Area - Oregon
- Alpine Meadows Ski Area - California
- Telluride Ski Resort - Colorado
- Bogus Basin Mountain Resort - Idaho
- Alta Ski Area - Utah
Note: the Coalition only reviews resorts in the USA and, so far, not those smaller, hometown resorts. For more information about the 10 greenest resorts, visit Ski Area Citizens’ Coalition. Via Treehugger.
