Dougald over at The Mountain World has a great post on outdoor books and films to keep you busy this winter (or, at least, when you're inside this winter).
He recommends ˚ as a good read and points out Venables' skill at describing his love for the mountains.
King Lines gets his thumbs-up for films, saying "This film raises the bar for rock climbing movies by many notches, with superb camera work and production, and a decent story line.".
