For those who are lucky enough to live, work or holiday where there glaciers I would highly recommend spending some time in a crevasse (safely of course). Icicles 6 foot long and 8 inches thick by the hundred and if you just sit and listen you’ll hear the glacier creaking and cracking as it moves, it’s a sound you’ll never forget. A vast array of tunnels and caverns all a shade of blue almost neon. We get the chance to bivi in one over night what a great experience.

I'm getting chills imagining the almost otherworldly beauty of the glacier you described. Can I join the British Antarctic Survey team? Pretty please? I'm quite small- you could just tuck me in a suitcase.
