I agree, but there seems to be a frantic drive to turn all outdoor sports into extreme. Ask Poole when he was 10 why he wanted to ski for Warren Miller and his answer most likely wouldn't be so he could jump off cliffs into a bed of rocks to metal music. He may have died an "extreme skier" but the scerenity that has been lost in Warren Miller Entertainment over the years was traded for that title.

Tragic. Unfortunately there are very real risks associated with extreme sports (otherwise they wouldn't be 'extreme').
