Some friends have been telling me that national parks they've been to this summer as looking kind of shabby, like they're really in need of major repairs and maintenance.

I remember news coverage earlier this year that reported the National Park Serivce is billions short of the money it needs to get things back on track and keeping them from sliding any more.

Have any uncoop-ers seen similar problems on national park visits this summer?
