Never eat wild mushrooms. With some species, even a small nibble, can prove deadly. Years ago an Asian Family in Oregon, collected wild mushrooms. They look exactly like a type... they knew in Vietnam. A few family members died, others where seriously ill. Even experts in mycology/botany have died eating so called identified as "safe".
By the way the correct terminology is Mushrooms are edible, Toadstools are toxic.
