About Me

I’m Wade, the author of The Great Outsmores and also the creator behind Outdoorsblogger.com. I’ve had a passion for getting outside and seeing new places since I was a little squirt as my grandpa called me. I started bass fishing at age eight in a pond near my parent’s house (at age ten I caught a nine pound hog that’s still my best bass), and never lost that wonder lust as the suburbs grew in around me. I’ve spent two working vacations in Colorado and many summers in the Florida Keys. In between, I’ve taken up fly-fishing, hiking, bouldering, shooting, boating, white-water kayaking, skiing, and now… writing, I suppose. I even got married at a ski resort (skied on my wedding day ), but I’m now toiling in a land of strip malls and traffic lights. That said, I still escape whenever I can. OutdoorsBlogger.com
