I learned to Love, the Bush, and Wildlife, from my Father.
My brothers and sister and I learned to respect guns, when very young, as we hunted as soon as we could hold and aim a 22 caliber rifle. First we learned not to point a gun at anything we were not going to shoot. My fathers guns were always loaded, hung on the wall. I have not hunted for many years.

My father with his father, (my grandfather) homesteaded in central Manitoba, an area of original mixed forest untouched by Europeans, before them. They made a living with Axes, Swede saws, and Rifles, for many years.
I learned to Love, and Respect the bush, wildlife, and living in the bush from my father.
